It's All About Foods Again

Wanted to post this for a long time, just never got free for doing this. Was been really busy once I started my new work back in Singapore. Well, I will update about more with my current job in the following post, today let's just make it short cause it's almost the time for me head to my comfy bed.

So, back to couple weeks ago, back to the food heaven, Malaysia. Everytime the only and the most important thing when I got back, it's just all about foods and foods and foods. I can never stop from eating, that's why I got a very special introduction from my friends, "I have a friend eat like dinosaur!!!". Okay, I admitted thennnnnn. But, so what??? Eat, is the most happiness in the world, at least to me it's.

Since it's all about foods, so let the pictures do the talking. It way better.

On our way heading for FOODS!!!

Can't recall the name, some chicken grilled from Italiannies Restaurant.

My dear Yuenyuen's favorite, Tiramisu from Italiannies Restaurant.

GuiLingGao, also known as Tortoise Jelly, from DRAGON-i Restaurant.
This reminded me of someone.

Forgotten what is this called, a kind of spicy noodles, from DRAGON-i Restaurant too.

My all time favorite- XiaoLongBao, also known as Soup Dumpling, from DRAGON-i Restaurant.
Tastes nice but still prefer the one from Crystal Jade Restaurant.

Kimchi Fried Rice by Ko Hyang, The Garden Mid Valley City.

Bi Bim Gok Su by Ko Hyang too.

Diving Deeper to My Majestic Lord

Today is Sunday, a worship for most of the church. I miss my church, since the time I moved to Singapore for work, I never got the chance to back and attend the service. Hmm, I think I need to find a church in Singapore asap.

I was still an atheist until I met someone who changed my vision of religious in my 20th. Although we have no more connection and contact, I still wanna thanks him to bring me into this field. I'm sad to say that my family they are Taoism, only me and some of my cousins are Christian. But I'm proud that I'm standing on my feet strongly and I know I'll keep it up. And I'm honored that My Majestic Lord never give up on me. Thanks God.

Okay, back to topic. I have a friend, Timothy Lim, he began his musical journey and his involvement with the creative arts at a very young age especially in the youth and worship ministries. Currently, Tim is serving full time in the worship ministry of Faith Christian Centre, Bandar Sunway and overseeing Faith Music, the FCC album music ministry. He is also writing new materials, in preparation for a follow-up to "THIS ROAD", his debut album.

Tim has talent in music and he did alot of creation. And recently, he did one song which I got inspire from. I hope to share with you all here, and below is a short intro for what he wrote for his new song.

I recently composed a song actually meant for my graduation class.

Diving Deeper, this won't be in my new album but thought it is too good not to share it.

I wrote this song in an upbeat tempo to capture our passion and energy in serving Him.

The story of Luke 5 in the Bible is the spiritual application of this song. This is where Jesus called His first few disciples into His ministry... calling them to be fishers of men and challenge them to come out of their comfort zone to go deeper in their relationship with Him.

It takes a lot of patience, commitment and courage to be fishermen, what more to be fishers of men. With that, Jesus just blew their minds off with a miracle -- they got the biggest catch anyone could imagine when they listened to him.

So there, the story of DIVING DEEPER -- that we want to step out to the unknown and doing great things for Him.

I really thank God for His leading in composing this song. I am amazed how He got me into composing this song and used it for everyone to be inspired in their walk for God.

Hope no matter who you are, this song can inspire you and your group to go deeper into His word.

VERSE 1
I want to know You
I wanna be rooted in Your word
I want to grow with Your love
I have decided to follow in Your ways O God
Your word's a light to my path

CHORUS
Diving deeper into Your love, into Your presence, into Your courts
Into Your love and into Your grace
Forevermore

VERSE 2
I've found my reason, my hope, my joy and everything
You are the song I will sing
I've found my purpose
I'll walk by faith, not by sight
I'll give my heart to You God

BRIDGE
I'm diving deeper, I'm diving deep into Your love
I'm diving deeper with You

The Museum, Red Carpet Avenue, Encorp Strand

Found some pictures when I was rearranging my hard disk. This was few weeks back, when I was getting a two days weekend holiday back to KL. Went a new place named Red Carpet Avenue which located just behind Sunway Giza, PJ. It was still a quite new place, if I'm not mistaken, it opened in June of 2011, owned by Encorp Strand. When I been there, no much people surrounding and still have some small parts was under renovation. But the environment and atmosphere just the exactly same with Sunway Giza, a place for chilling in the night. Cafe, bar, pub, restaurant, you can find all there in once.

The earlier reservation made, The Museum here we go. The Museum Restaurant & Bar, decorated with the dim lights and romantic old songs, it's very enjoyable to have a dine over there. We had a simple set dinner which included soup, main course, dessert and drink. Here is the address:

Museum,
Red Carpet Avenue, Encorp Strand,
Jalan PJU5/22, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

they served in outdoor and indoor

the special deco

spot Mona Lisa

the drinks
left: Breakfast Martini
right: Acapulco's Malibu
rate:
I don't know how to describe, just not nice for me.

the soups
Chicken Gumbo and Mushroom Soup
rate:
It has a little bit salty, if not it will be perfect.

the main course
Lamb Shank
rate:
I'm not really in love with lamb, but Yuenyuen said it's not bad, so it got a 4 stars from us.

the main course
Chicken Cordon Bleu
rate:
The taste was not bad, just the chicken fried over the heat, so it became a little bit harder to swallow.

the dessert
Panna Cotta
rate:
Hmm, the taste was a bit like "Malay style"???

Done the dine and we discovered this is what appeared outside the washroom. Hmm, abit weird?

And surprised!!!

So concluded,
the rate of food and drink:
the rate of decoration and atmosphere:
Hope it will turn out better when I got the chance for second patronize .

And here, ended up with the love.

BYE YAH!!!

Portrait Shooting, the Winter in Pavillion, Wyoming, United States

As what you can see in the tittle, I became a random model for photo shooting, as a favor from my friend.
Captured this in January month, got the copy in April, and now I only got the chance to post it.

TIRED, the only word to describe for what I felt from the shooting progress, and of course a little bit sense of accomplishment after it done.

Hmm well, nothing much to say here.
I had chosen few of my favorite shoots from the all over, hope you do enjoy with the portraits.

The end.

Mama's Day 2012

God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers.  ~~~Jewish Proverb

22 years, she has been take care of me without any condition. She has wrinkly hands because of clothes washed and food cooked; she is fierce because of our self-discipline wanted; she is so stingy because of the education fees for goo's siblings; she has a weaken body because the meticulous care for her children. She, is my mama.

I admitted, I am a naughty child. I have my all own way and style in my life. I ain't an obedient child who always listen to their mama to do whatever they don't like and my extroverted character, I became a very big headache to her. Although these, but she still loves me with conditionless.

I'm so appreciate and glad to have her in my life and thanks God sent her to be the one who brought MISSYXIAOHUI to this beautiful world. I just want to say: 'Mom, I'm sorry for bringing so much sadness and headacheness in your life, and thanks to be my side whenever I need you. And now, I want to be your haven onward as what you had done for me. I <3 U, mom, forever.'

My pretty mom when 20s

Mama's day 2012, we had a simple family dinner together on Saturday night (sad to say that no picha for this). And I had the very first try in making sweet potato donuts for my mom on the next day as a high tea. It's successful though and I'm glad to see the smile hanging on her face.

I think most of the people doesn't know what is sweet potato donuts, I learned this before from my grandma. It's very old chinese style donuts, but it tastes nice. I think you can't buy it from anywhere, unless you do it by yourself. The step is very easy, just need to pay some attention of timing and heat control. Now, the step show of sweet potato donuts.

Step 1: Cut the sweet potatoes in small chunks.

Step 2: Put the sweet potato chunks into a pot of water before boiling it.
This is because sweet potato has a kind of sticky white liquid, do as above can wash it away.

Step 3: Take some pandan leaves for making more sweet taste.

Step 4: Boil sweet potato chunks and pandan leaves together until the sweet potatoes become soften and water boiled.
The sweet potato juice can be the companion drink of sweet potato donuts.

Step 5: Put the all soften sweet potatoes into a bowl and squeeze till mashed-ly.

And it will become like this after squeezing.

Step 6: Put the appropriate flour into the mashed sweet potatoes accordingly and mix well.

Mixed well.

Step 7: To knead and roll the mashed sweet potatoes as donut shaped.
(note: moisten some flour before shaping due to the sticky of mashed sweet potatoes)

Step 8: Fry the donuts till golden with strong heat.
(note: if fry with low heat the donuts will become more solid)

Till like this.

Step 9: Sugar flakes making.
Boil with water and white sugar with low heat and keep circling it.
(note: wash the pan before sugar flakes making, because if there has oil on pan, the sugar flakes won't be able to stick on the donuts surface.)

When circling till the bubble appeared, put the sweet potato donuts fried together and keep flipping.

Step 10: Flipping till the sugar flakes stick on the sweet potato donuts fully.

And then it's done!!!

Enjoy the dessert!!!

So, that's it for the Mama's Day 2012. The only one pic before head for family dinner on the Saturday night.

And so, love y'all!
